"It is a great honor for us to support the World Cup in Russia. Now I'm not speaking on behalf of the Holding, but on behalf of each employee. We are proud, we stand for, we are engaged. Although we are not on the field with a ball, but we contribute to this historic sporting event. Our participation in the project once again demonstrates the diversity of the products of the Holding. We have covered several niches: people friendly urban environment, health care, pleasant and memorable souvenirs for fans. It is really important that each of the presented developments is beneficial to people. We at Shvabe are going to develop this mission," said Alexey Patrikeyev, Shvabe Director General

One of the most advanced developments is available for the guests in Yekaterinburg: it is a city navigation complex for pedestrians manufactured at Ural Optical and Mechanical Plant (UOMZ) especially for the 2018 World Cup. There have been no similar systems in Russia yet, the system differs from the foreign analogues for its extended functionality. The domestic complex is equipped with an emergency button "individual-police", round-the-clock audio and video monitoring system, an access to Wi-Fi and a USB-connector for mobile device charging. Interaction with the map is carried out through the touch screen. The complex will inform the user about the weather and the sights, build a route, book a hotel and call a taxi. The navigation complex was developed at UOMZ within the framework of   the ‘Safe City’ federal program.

Also, Shvabe delivered 150 automatic external defibrillators AND A15 manufactured at UOMZ to Yekaterinburg, Volgograd and Rostov-on-Don. One of the Holding's premier medical products is intended for first aid in case of sudden cardiac arrest. Resuscitation is carried out in four steps, each accompanied by visual and sound prompts. The device reacts only to the absence of fibrillation, which excludes any damage caused by false triggering. Medical facilities in Russia, including those in remote communities are also being equipped with automatic medical defibrillators AID A15
