Alexey Patrikeyev was born on January 24, 1960 in the city of Penza. In 1983 he completed the full course of the Bauman Moscow Higher Technical School (MVTU) (now Bauman Moscow State Technical University) and defended graduation thesis with specialization in  "Automatic information devices". Later got PhD degree in Economics.   

From 1983 to 2015 worked for JSC Lytkarino Optical Glass Plant in various positions. Starting 2003, he headed the leading enterprises of the optical industry that are members of Shvabe Holding - JSC  Lytkarino Optical Glass Plant  , JSC "Scientific, Research and Technological Institute of Optical Materials with  Russian Scientific Center Vavilov State Optical Institute ", PJSC" Krasnogorsk Plant named after  S.A. Zverev"

In March 2016 Alexei Patrikeyev was approved in the position ofGeneral Director of Shvabe Holding.
