Vologda Optical and Mechanical Plant OJSC (VOMZ OJSC), a Shvabe Holding enterprise, held its annual table tennis competitions.

The competitions were held at the corporate sports center. Plant workers competed in two groups, men and women. The key objective of the event was not only to demonstrate sport and playing skills, but also to promote sport and healthy lifestyles, say participants.

In a harsh struggle among women, the victory was won by Olga Mikhailova, class 5 substation maintenance electrician; and the male group was dominated by Andrei Isaak, Head of Networks and Substations, Energy Generation.

The winners were rewarded with diplomas and cash bonuses.
