High-ranking delegates visited the stand of Shvabe Holding at INNOPROM-2018. The guests were shown the possibilities of a new water treatment system, an automated defibrillator and a “smart” intersection.
At the INNOPROM-2018 exhibition in Yekaterinburg, Shvabe Holding demonstrated a water purification system, technologies for public infrastructure management and developments in medicine. Representatives of foreign countries, including those from Korea, China, Algeria, Zimbabwe, Iran, South Africa and Belarus, familiarized themselves with Russian products.
On the Russian side, the exhibition was visited by Dmitry Kozak, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Denis Manturov, the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Andrei Chibis, the Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing of the Russian Federation, Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of Tatarstan, Yevgeny Kuivashev, the Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region, Gleb Nikitin, the Acting Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, as well as by the officials from Nizhny Tagil, Yaroslavl, Tyumen, Pskov, Kurgan and Penza regions.
“Products of the Holding shown at INNOPROM give a clear understanding of our direction. It is, first of all, digitalization of transport and urban infrastructure, represented by a “smart” intersection and a complex of pedestrian navigation and modern lighting systems. Also, it is medical equipment, today its production involves more and more capacities of Shvabe. One of the unconditional ‘hits’ of the exhibition is the water treatment system. It greatly impressed the visitors. All these developments meet the objectives of improving the quality of life, the availability of first aid and safety,” said Alexey Patrikeyev, Shvabe Director General.
A vivid interest of the visitors was stimulated by water treatment plant, developed at Polyus Research Institute, an enterprise of Shvabe Holding. The water purification was performed at the stand, where guests could evaluate its quality. As a result, the company received about 50 tentative orders. Thus, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Zimbabwe in Russia was interested in the system with a view to its installation in public schools and hospitals. Among potential customers there were representatives from Iran as well.
The delegates paid much attention to medical equipment. In case of timely enactment of the law on increasing availability of automated external defibrillators, it is planned to deliver A15 devices to more than 90 institutions of the Sverdlovsk region, as well as to the Ekaterinburg metro by the end of 2018.
Vitaly Vovk, the Minister of Industry (Belarus) examined the model of the first Russian portable neonatal incubator "Bonny". It is intended for the safe short-term transportation of a newborn to medical facilities and between the units thereof, transportation in hard-to-reach areas and as an alternative to a transport incubator. At the exhibition the incubator was presented as part of a helicopter - according to the program of equipping ambulance aviation of the Sverdlovsk region with medical equipment.
The Minister from Belarus was also shown BiliFlex fiber-optic system and a range of high-precision satellite equipment for geodetic, land surveying and cadastral works. Within the framework of Shvabe agricultural equipment presentation, Mr. Vovk examined Protein-1M grain analyzer. The device measures grain hardness, gluten and protein content in wheat and determines its degree of quality.
To present at INNOPROM the developments in the area of safe and comfortable urban environment, a smart crossroad stand was made as a fragment of a present-day street. The complex consisted of a LED speed indicator ‘Green Line’ and a street lamp of DKU-1 Smart series with a remote control and a monitoring system, as well as a DS-10 traffic light of a futuristic design. A multifunctional informational column, developed within the framework of ‘Safe City’ federal program was installed nearby.
Gleb Nikitin, the Acting Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, familiarized himself with the presented developments. He was also shown a technology based on the urban management system ‘Mayor Automated Workplace’.
In the course of the business program, a representative of Shvabe informed on the promising areas and projects of the Holding in civilian industries implemented on the principles of partnerships and consortia. According to the results of the report, a number of domestic and foreign companies, including those from Germany, expressed a desire to cooperate.
The international industrial exhibition INNOPROM-2018 was held in Yekaterinburg from July 9 to July 12. This year, the Republic of Korea was a partner country of the event. Representatives of companies and holdings brought over 800 exhibits in total, signed over 100 contracts and agreements. The exhibition was visited by 46 thousand people from 107 countries.
