Shvabe presents Russian optics in Belgrade


Holding Shvabe is taking part in the 10th PARTNER-2021 International Exhibition of Armaments and Military Equipment, held under the auspices of the Serbian Ministry of Defense. The company is presenting collimator, optical and prismatic sights, as well as accessories - all Russian-made high tech products.

In the single exposition of Russian Federation organized by Rosoboronexport, Shvabe zone includes mainly products of Krasnogorsk Zverev Plant Zenit (KMZ) and Vologda Optical and Mechanical Plant (VOMZ) - these enterprises are among leading manufacturers of sighting equipment in the Holding. Shvabe launched the riflescopes SM-N1, N2 and 1-5x24 panzer in Belgrade, as well as the line of VOMZ rifle scopes for hunting and sports shooting. Notably, the Lytkarinsky Optical Glass Plant with its lightweight silicon carbide mirror was included in the list of exhibitors.

"Serbia is a promising market for us. Consumer interest in high-quality optics is quite developed here and demand for high-tech products is growing. We have been exporting mainly scopes and components, including civilian to Belgrade, through our exclusive distributor for several years now. We intend to strengthen our presence in this and neighbouring geographic regions in the nearest future," said Alexei Patrikeev, General Director of Shvabe and member of the Bureau of the Machine-Builders Union of Russia. At the beginning of the year, the Holding Company equipped the school at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Serbia with two thermal imaging cameras in a no profit project. Domestic infra-red systems of temperature measurements at the diplomatic mission work at the secondary school, where over 300 children are studying today.

PARTNER-2021 will be visited by representatives of another nine organizations of the Holding from the optoelectronic industry of Russia: Shvabe-Moscow, Orion Scientific and Production Association, GOI named after S.I. Vavilov, Central Design Bureau of the Russian Academy of Sciences, V.I. Vavilov and others. These are Shvabe-Moscow, Orion Research and Production Association GOI named after S.I. Vavilov, Photon Central Design Bureau, Moscow SAPFIR plant, State Institute of Applied Optics, Ural Optical and Mechanical Plant named after E.S. Yalamov, Novosibirsk Instrument-making Plant, Zagorsk Optical and Mechanical Plant and Stelmakha Research Institute named after M.F. Stelmakh.

Shvabe products will be displayed in pavilion 4, booth #4001 at Belgrade Fair expocenter. The exhibition is planned from 11 to 14 October.
