During PHOTOFORUM-2015 Shvabe Holding entity presented new photography equipment.

PHOTOFORUM is the largest exhibition in Eastern Europe, Russia and the CIS, dedicated to the latest photo and video equipment, as well as special equipment. JSC "Krasnogorsky zavod" (KMZ), part of Shvabe Holding, has been ist long-standing participant. This year, the company presented a range of redesigned lenses, «Optar» cinema lenses, «Gorizont» panoramic photocameras family, as well as vision optics, in particular, gyroscopic image stabilized binoculars, laser rangefinder binoculars, and «Zenit TsFR» photo- and videorecorders.

According to KMZ experts it was the first Russian exhibition where visitors could see the redesigned lenses of the legendary Zenit brand. Potential consumers welcomed the changes and, what is more, appreciated structural differences of redesinged lenses compared to the old ones. For example, professional photographers did notice that focus ring of Zenit Helios' latest modification became bigger, and the mechanism itself moves more smoothly and fluidly, which makes it easier to work with the lens.

The visitors were also particularly interested in the new Zenitar-N lens meant for non-full frame digital cameras, which was announced last year. Photographers and cameramen noted its optical properties, shot frame and potential for the application in photography and video shooting. Future customers wondered when the lens would be put on the market. They were reassured this would happen in the summer. As far as the redesigned version of the simular lens for full frame cameras is concerned, it will only be available by the end of the year.
