“POLYUS” Research Institute of M.F. Stelmakh, a Shvabe Holding company, supplied its МО-1000 water treatment system for salts removal to the secondary school at the Khazarman settlement. The purification capacity of the system is 750 liters per hour. It also reduces the content of hydrogen sulphide, iron and manganese compounds in the water.
“Equipping a village school is the first step of a large-scale project that aims to provide access to clean water for settlements in Uzbekistan. In the immediate future, we are planning to install similar systems in other infrastructure facilities of the republic,” said Evgeny Kuznetsov, Director General of “POLYUS” Research Institute.
The cooperation agreement between “POLYUS” Research Institute and “UzEcolos” LLC was signed on the margins of the International Trade Fair INNOPROM: Big Industrial Week in Uzbekistan 2021. The joint project is intended to improve living standards in the rural areas without access to centralized water supply.
