Following the victory in an open electronic auction, Shvabe Holding of Rostec State Corporation signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense of Russia for supply and technical equipment of three state-of-the-art mobile hospitals.
The contract for supply of medical hospitals was signed by Ivan Ozhgikhin, a director of Shvabe-Moscow, and Daria Morozova, Deputy Head of the Department of Public Procurement of the Russian Defense Ministry. According to the document, mobile medical complexes will be transferred to ownership of Russian military units located in Sevastopol, Novosibirsk and Chita. The contract is due in November 2018.
"In terms of technical equipment and functionality, our mobile hospitals correspond to a multifaceted regional medical centre. On their territory, servicemen will receive highly qualified medical help in-the -field." (Ivan Ozhgikhin, Shvabe-Moscow Director).
Shvabe mobile hospital is intended for medical support of military units involved in armed conflicts, peace-support operations or liquidation of medical and sanitary consequences of emergency situations. According to the press service of the Holding, the complex is made of surgical, therapeutic, laboratory and X-ray departments, anesthesiology and resuscitation department, as well as a dental office. One mobile hospital is designed for 100 beds and is able to provide highly qualified medical care for up to 250 people a day.
